Minister for Seniors and Ageing, Don Punch has stated that the WA Seniors Card program is the most generous program of its kind in Australia, providing over 410,000 members access to a wide range of State Government concessions and discounts from businesses.

On 4 April 2024, the MP launched the second edition of the Goldfields Seniors Discount Directory, which features discounts from 63 local businesses and helps connects seniors with important support services and community groups in their area.

The Goldfields Directory is a joint initiative between Kalgoorlie MLA Ali Kent, Member for Mining and Pastoral Region MLC Kyle McGinn, Rotary Club of Kalgoorlie, and the Kalgoorlie Miner.

It complements the WA Seniors Card Discount Directory, which offers exclusive discounts on goods and services from hundreds of participating businesses across WA.

All States and Territories have their own Seniors Cards.

The South Australian Seniors Card Discounts & Deals website has also been relaunched to make it easier for Seniors Card members to find bargains relevant to their needs.

Members are encouraged to subscribe to WeekendPlus via the Seniors Card website and follow the Seniors Card SA Facebook page to keep up to date.

Villages.com.au reported last year that NSW and SA Seniors Card holders are the first to get a fuel discount of 4 cents per litre with their card. Read the story here.
