Pickleball is taking the senior community by storm, and Keyton is embracing the craze with a fun and competitive twist. The leading retirement village provider has launched a seven-part YouTube series, “Road to Pickleball,” showing off the skill, energy, and humour of its residents.
Pickleball rivalry with a twist
Keyton hosted a friendly pickleball competition between two of its Rowville retirement villages—Waterford Valley Lakes and The Links at Waterford – with an unusual grand prize: a jar of pickles!
CEO Nathan Cockerill likened the series to Netflix’s “Formula 1: Drive to Survive”, showcasing the competitive spirit and playful nature of the residents.
“This series highlights the creativity and enthusiasm of both our staff and residents. They play hard, have fun, and truly embody the joy of retirement living,” Nathan said.
