Country music singer and songwriter Adam Harvey, who is the newest Dementia Australia Ambassador, has a deeply personal connection to the condition.
His mother Andrea’s diagnosis inspired him to write his song, Remember Me, which he performed recently at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
“My mum’s journey with dementia has been deeply challenging for my family, but it has also shown me the importance of understanding, support, and compassion,” Adam said.
“I’m honoured to join Dementia Australia as an Ambassador, and I’m excited to use my voice to raise awareness about dementia, especially in rural and remote communities where support can sometimes be harder to access.”
