Most people entering a retirement village or land lease community want to know what’s in the clubhouse.
Land lease community operators have taken the clubhouse to new heights, and the latest trend is to include an additional Wellness Centre.
Ingenia Lifestyle Springside in Beveridge, Melbourne’s north, officially opened its new clubhouse, with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Ingenia Communities Group CEO John Carfi.
Designed as the social and recreational heart of the community, Ingenia Lifestyle Springside’s new clubhouse features a library, cinema, billiards room, lounge, and multi-purpose space.
A wellness precinct will add to the amenities with an indoor pool, spa, sauna, hair salon, gym, yoga studio, pickleball court, barbecue, and croquet lawn/putting green.
“At Ingenia, we believe lifestyle is just as important as the homes themselves, and the new Clubhouse and Wellness Precinct has been thoughtfully designed to support connection, wellbeing and active living,” John said.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see residents already embracing the community and enjoying the friendships and lifestyle opportunities that communities like Ingenia Lifestyle Springside provide.”
Ingenia Communities Head of Development, Simon Burk, said the first residents have brought the community to life.
“You can already feel the community spirit forming, and this new Clubhouse and Wellness precinct will play a major role in bringing residents together for years to come,” Simon said.
When complete, Ingenia Lifestyle Springside will feature 262 homes, all incorporating solar panels, heat pump hot water systems, quality insulation and appliances.
Resident Jackie Pelham, 60, has been living at the community for the past eight months and is looking forward to enjoying the new amenities.
“It’s a great community and the new clubhouse and wellness precinct will really help bring us all together in a communal setting,” she said.
“It’s lovely to have lots of different areas for activities as well as a library. We are all very excited about the pool as well.”
Conveniently located adjacent to Mandalay Golf Course and approximately 50 minutes north of Melbourne’s CBD, Ingenia Lifestyle Springside offers easy access to shopping, health services, restaurants and recreational facilities across Melbourne’s growing northern corridor.
A community grand opening event will also be held this weekend, giving the broader community an opportunity to tour the new facilities, inspect display homes and experience the lifestyle on offer at Ingenia Lifestyle Springside.
