This year’s NSW Seniors Festival, with the theme Time to Shine, is a celebration of connection, fun, and community – and it’s happening right now! The event will run until 16 March, offering hundreds of exciting activities for seniors across the state.
Damien McCabe, the NSW Seniors Festival Event Manager, encourages everyone to take part: “We want our seniors to shine their brightest, meet new people, make friends, and connect with their communities.”
What’s happening?
There are 330 activities across NSW, so there’s something for everyone! Whether you’re in Sydney or in a regional area, you can join in the fun. Highlights include:
- Wagga: Moving Together – Soundtrack of the 70s
- Bateman’s Bay: Celebrating Our Seniors with activities like bingo and cultural talks
- Mandurama & Werai (Central West): Regenerative Agriculture Farm Tour
Don’t Miss the Seniors Festival Expo
If you’re looking for even more excitement, head to the Seniors Festival Expo at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, on March 12 (9am–5pm) and March 13 (9am–3pm). With 110 exhibitors, you’ll find displays, workshops, food, entertainment, and live performances!
Comedy and Entertainment
The festival’s biggest events, the Premier’s Gala Concerts and Comedy Show, have sold out. But don’t worry – you can still join the fun by watching the concerts via live stream! Catch performances from stars like Rob Mills, Todd McKenney, Prinnie Stevens, and Tarryn Stokes online on March 12 at 2:45pm.
