Residents of Keyton Brentwood Retirement Village in Kincumber, on the NSW Central Coast, have raised an incredible $20,980 for the Cancer Care Unit at Gosford Hospital since 2017.
This heartwarming effort showcases the generosity and dedication of retirement living and land lease communities across Australia.
A special thank you
As a thank you for their generous contributions, the fundraising residents were invited to an exclusive tour of the Cancer Care Unit at Gosford Hospital.
During the tour, they were shown a piece of equipment proudly marked with a plaque bearing the village’s name, a lasting reminder of their impact.
Making a difference
Doreen, a resident and volunteer at Brentwood Village, emphasised the importance of supporting charities: “It’s so important for our village to continue supporting the causes we care about. I encourage everyone to come along to the events organised by our Committee, not only to have fun but also to make a real difference to those in need,” she said.
