Sue and Peter North have been part of Ingenia Lifestyle’s land lease community Latitude One in the seaside resort of Anna Bay, since 2021, three years after it first opened.
Peter and Sue have lived at Ingenia Lifestyle Latitude One since 2021 and have moved twice within the community, with the most recent move being June 2026. Their most recent move was into the latest expansion, which is adding another 183 additional homes (2-bed and 3-bed) and a second clubhouse
They love a lifestyle defined by simplicity, connection and a strong sense of comfort. They had lived in Sydney and spent several years in the region.
“We wanted something low maintenance, somewhere that felt easy to live in,” Sue said.
“It’s peaceful, it’s quiet and you feel safe. It’s just a really friendly, happy environment.”
That sense of ease is something the couple say has made a lasting difference to their day-to-day life. They are focusing more on the things they enjoy.
For Sue, that includes staying active and social. She enjoys the pool, taking part in aqua aerobics classes and attending community events throughout the year.
“There’s always something happening, from seasonal events to social gatherings, and we love being part of that,” she said.
For Peter, life at Ingenia Lifestyle Latitude One complements an already active lifestyle. He remains heavily involved in the broader Port Stephens community, while still enjoying the benefits of a home base that is easy to maintain and return to.
They bought a three-bedroom home with space for visiting family and a design that prioritises low maintenance.
Sue and Peter are now preparing to move into a new home within Ingenia Lifestyle Latitude One.
They are transitioning to a home with a smaller garden, they’re further simplifying their day-to-day living, while maintaining space for family to visit and stay.
“It gives us that flexibility,” Sue said.
